•Open the “Hard ware configuration” using Simatic Manager .
•Go to Station > Open Online.
•Now the same configuration is opened in ONLINE mode.
•See the next slide.
•If there is any fault there will be a Red Mark on the CPU.
•If you see the slave modules you will find a red slanting line over the slave.
•Double click on that slave.
•Go to Diagnosis .
•Follow the steps of corrective action as mentioned.
